For me, this isn’t about the pictures of our children, it’s the memories of the people around us. I feel the digital age has made documenting our lives so much more accessible but for me, personally, it’s important to include ME in the family photos. For my kids to look back on too. And although today may be like any other day, I like to think there is beauty in the ordinary.

I consider it such a privilege when I’m chosen to capture those precious early moments, not to remind you just what they looked like but also what it felt like snuggling up to them, playing with their little toes and breathing in that newborn deliciousness. The early days with a newborn can feel like a blur. It’s a time of physical healing but also coming to terms with the reality of actually having a baby.

  • Pregnancy photoshoot

    What better way to remember the wonder, the love, feelings and emotions of such a special time for your family, than a maternity shoot? Love already connects you and your baby but during pregnancy you might not feel like yourself. There’s a lot of changes going on. Some of them chip on our self-confidence and play on our insecurities. There can be a sense of grief and a fear of the unknown… However, pregnancy is also a time of anticipation, excitement, connection, strength, and empowerment. There’s the new sensation of stroking your belly, the kicks, the knowing you can do this…
