My name is Tracy Gilbert & together with my husband Stacey (yes, that really is his name) we have been in the catering industry for 25 years, running Food Halls, B&B's, Bistros & Gourmet Food Vans in Suffolk but our dream was always to move next to the sea in Devon hoping to take things a little easier. However, instead ......

​In early 2019, I took the step to take over a modest section of Annie's Fruit Shop with a vision of offering sustainable shopping solutions with a small selection of frozen fruit, veg & continental cheeses..... 3 years later, triple the amount of space, 7 more freezers, 18 teas, 9 coffees, 15 oil & vinegars, 60 herbs & spices, 3 deli counters, DIY beauty bar, on tap local honey & a peanut butter machine later & I think my vision has been realised!

My ethos is to offer free flow, non packaged foods, so that people can buy as little or as much as they like, so no BOGOF deals that block up your freezers or waste foods ending up on food mountains, just buy what you need, when you need it using our biodegradable bags or bring in your own packaging.

I would like to think there is something for everyone whether it's frozen fish fillets to mixed fruits for smoothies to our popular range of pain au chocolates & pizza doughs. Our own ready meal range cooked in small batches also satisfy those who just want to pop something tasty in the oven.

We cater for all walks of life, all ages, all family dynamics...... some shop weekly, some shop daily, some are here on holiday, some shop for elderly relatives who have limited storage.

Our shop is definitely an interactive experience with new tastes & smells for people to explore, with help & advice on hand.
